Heleen Declercq is an accomplished director, based in the cultural heart of Belgium. Her clear focus on the essence of film and the art of storytelling sets her apart from the crowd.
She graduated from the RITCS School of Arts in Documentary Film, and her graduate project GIRLHOOD has been selected for inclusion in numerous film festivals.
Documentary filmmaking is still at the foundation of every project. Ever since she was a young kid, Heleen has been fascinated by the power of imagery to tell stories. She spent countless hours documenting her own world with her mother’s camcorder. She combines this endless curiosity to create visually stunning narratives for videoclips, commercials, documentaries and fiction.
Her work is not bound to hypes and is in one word, timeless.
