Selim’s journey began in Tunis, where he was born to a French mother and Tunisian father. His multicultural upbringing sparked his interest in exploring the world, leading him to study photography at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Liège when he was just 17.
After completing his studies, Selim ventured to bustling Brussels, where he spent six years as an assistant photographer working on a wide range of advertising and fashion projects. This formative period endowed him with a deep technical and human sensitivity, which he draws on to this day.
His images are imbued with a sense of motion and energy that captivates the viewer, leaving an indelible impression. A true master of his craft, Selim builds a deep trust with the models he works with, allowing them to shine in front of the camera and appear as authentic and natural as possible.
